Teeth Grinding and Migraine Treatments in our Bicester clinic

Teeth Grinding

Bruxism – the grinding and clenching of teeth affects over 80% of the population at some stage in their life. It can be very debilitating for many sufferers. Although it is such a prevalent condition it often remains overlooked and underdiagnosed. For some patients, bruxism doesn't cause any symptoms, for many the side effects are painful and persistent, including headaches, neckaches, migraines and excessive tooth wear.

Botox treatment is only one part of a complex treatment we can provide. The muscle relaxing injections into the masseter and temporalis muscles significantly reduce their parafunctional intensity and help to ease your symptoms.

At REclinic we will provide a thorough assessment and a complete treatment of bruxism. This may include a special Sleep Clenching Inhibitor splint to reduce the parafunctional activity of the chewing muscles and advice regarding how to manage tooth wear.
